If so, what are you taking….i am on remicade and methx. injections. having quite a few side effects starting with constant shingles…eye and lip…also some rashes. how are the rest of you doing? hope you are doing better and that some of you have reached remission. I am still on prednesone….3 years now…. ugh Take care and let me know if you can help in anyway…any information is greatly appreciated. Thanks Laura

Hi Laura, (I love your name, it is my first daughter’s name: Laura Mae, and I still love the sound of it though she died after living only 5 days.) I don’t have RA and SLE but I do have Lupus with sjogren’s syndrome and raynaud’s phenomena secondary to it. It is a miserable trio along with pmv, copd and renal complications as well as skin issues… so I too am on pred and it has been several years of daily dosage along with chloroquin. I am doing alot better now at age 50 than I ever did when younger! I think that age mellows the illness, as well as the person LOL! I hope you get some answers and get to feeling better though!
