Question:
Several people suggested different medications one started with a t and I think had an ine at the end or ole I don’t remember but I was the one who said that I had lupus lesions and asked about different meds. All of those posts are gone now and I wan on a friends computer so I don’t have the infor. if anyone knows what I am talking about or can suggest any new medications other that predinisone please reply. I have lupus, vasculitius, rheumatoid arthritis, heart problems, sores on my face under my nails and I am a wreck. I go to the DR. tomorrow and wanted to ask about the meds listed before but I blew it and didn’t write it down. Sorry Terri Jo

You could be thinking of plaquenil or if it’s just for the lupus lesions-I use Temovate-it’s just a cream but works well. Good luck and God Bless. Cindy

Teety, I am on Minocin, an Antibiotic therpay. I as well have RA/SLE and it has worked wonderfully for me. There is a book by Henry Scammell called The New Arthritis breakthough and is very helpful. Take Care Marge Marge

Terri Jo. I use Temovate for the lesions which is the generic for Clobetasol. It’s a cream and works pretty well. Someone also recommended something called Lahydric cream for skin. I haven’t asked my Dr. about it yet though. I don’t think it clears the lesions up, but helps with the dryness and flaking. I hope this will be of some help to you. Mary
