Question:
There are medications that can be safely used for both RA and lupus. One of these is Methotrexate. As far as I know, the ones that are known to cause problems for lupus are anti-tumor necrosis factor medications. Sandra

He B. Will have to read all of this later (migraine boomer) but one wonders if you have AI disease already (rheumatoid Arthritis) should you push the envelope by taking something that might push you into another (lupus). They state "reversible" lupus syndrome. What about irreversible (of ocurse, I’ll have to read the article…) thanks for posting this. I’ve heard the anti-tnfalpha meds are kinda hard on the kidneys so for those of you with kidney involvement make sure you have all the data before getting involved with these.. *********************************** KCat – I am not a medical professional.
