Autoimmune disorders

Question:

I know once in a while you see things on this newsgroups about autoimmune disorders, like PANDAS.  I was wondering if anyone knew if "all" Autoimmune disorders/diseases can display the same symptoms.  Like, if a symptom of one is a rash, does that mean that simply by it being an Autoimmune disorder, all autoimmune disorders can have a rash?  I hope I am making sense…. Kim

Response:

No, it doesn’t mean that.  And PANDAS is still only a theory.  Because the immune system functions throughout the body, many systems can be involved in some disorders such as lupus and rheumatoid arthritis.   Roger – Hide quoted text — Show quoted text -KurliQs wrote: > I know once in a while you see things on this newsgroups about autoimmune > disorders, like PANDAS.  I was wondering if anyone knew if "all" Autoimmune > disorders/diseases can display the same symptoms.  Like, if a symptom of one is > a rash, does that mean that simply by it being an Autoimmune disorder, all > autoimmune disorders can have a rash?  I hope I am making sense…. > Kim
