| Hi Shelagh, | I have been looking for an update from you but, so far, nothing. How are | you? I am getting a bit worried now. | BJ-Sk. Canada Hi BJ… Getting there, still weak and light headed. It turns out to be renal involvement. The lungs (pneumonitis flared up again) and joints and all jumped in cause it is a lupus flare and they all wanted on the band wagon! LOL. Unsure yet if it is infectious or non infectious inflammation but treated with AB in case and upped the pred significantly so I started to feel better Sunday a.m. and my fever stayed lower all day yesterday and today seems better. It was as high as 103.5 at some points and reminiscent of when I was a teen… renal lupus for over 3 1/2 years then and I suspected that, but hoped not, when the bone racking chills set in as that is the usual for kidney involvement so the doctors say. It is the only time a fever feels better high than low… weird I know… but at 101 the headaches are bad and at 103 you are so ‘out of it spacey’ that it doesn’t seem to matter… I used to spike to 105 as a teen… didn’t happen this time.. hopefully it won’t be recurrent as they were then… every 6 weeks like clock work… and the hemmoragic UTIs proceeded those years for 2 years like my 2 years of UTIs just ended and now look what happened?! Am I scared? Oh yes, just a little, knowledge can be a good thing but too much information isn’t always good, LOL! Thanks for asking anyhow, hugs from Shelagh http://clik.to/lupus When life is fragile Handle with prayer

Hi Shelagh, I am glad to hear you coming along. Certainly not good if you have renal involvement. You don’t need to be going through that again. I will move you to the top of my " good thoughts" list. Prayers seem to work around here. I have noticed that before. Keep us updated as you can. I know you need your rest. Take care, my dear. BJ-Sk. Sending positive vibes or as Mair calls them "good thinks" your way. Spring is coming and hopefully with warmer weather and cute baby seals to frolic in the water by your home you will begin to feel better. Ok and lots of meds, too. LOL You just work on getting better. (((((((((((hugs)))))))))))))) Bev (P&E) "Shelagh" <tidering…@shaw.ca> wrote in message
