Quick hello

Question:

Hi Everyone! I don’t have time today to go through and respond to everyone’s posts, but I hope to get to them by the end of the week. I am on the re-write now of my thesis and will be sitting here at my computer for the week. Your posts will be a welcome break when I need one! Good news – I have a wonderful new Rheumatologist. He is a good listener and takes a very holistic approach. He is calling what I have sub-clinical lupus. I am not sure exactly what he means by that – but I am assumming it means I meet some of the criteria but not all. It was so refreshing to have a doctor look at me with compassion and say that he wants to help me. :-) And I have a new oral surgeon who is looking into doing surgery on my jaw joing and relieve some of this face pain. (which would be welcome!) That is a quick update for you. I will be lurking for the week as I write, write, and write some more. Three weeks and I am done…  And as always, know that I appreciate your kindness. Stephanie

Response:

Hi Steph! So glad you like your new RD.  I couldn’t find anything about subclinical Lupus, other than it just being a term – no definitions, per se.  Maybe someone will know what this means.  I hope so, cuz now you have me wondering too. : ) Good luck with the thesis!  Gosh, you really did it, didn’t you?!  So proud of you! Does your offer for therapy still stand?  LOL!  I think I may need some.  (Y’all better not respond to that!) HugsHun, Maggie

Response:

Sure — I will give the free therapy :-)  I think we ALL could use some! I think my doc was just saying I didn’t meet full criteria. He kept saying. "It’s tricky." So I guess I am tricky. Always wanted to be tricky ;-) Steph "Maggie" <JD…@webtv.net> wrote in message
