Question:
Hi Guys the city had their dangerous animal hearing today against that dog. They decided he was dangerous and that means the man has 11 days to buy a $100 thousand dollar insurance policy, build a complete enclosure no one can get in and dog can not get out of and if the dog is in it has to be muzzled and on 6 foot leash. Well the man, and I use the term loosely he is a J*** said I gave the dog away so there yup in those words. After saying my daughter chased down the dog hitting it with her backpack. We had eye witnesses to the contrary. As you know she was bit in our yard from behind on back of legs The judge was looking at pics of her bites as man was saying this Well anyway he has to tell them exactly where the dog is so our city can inform their city it is state law. Then at the very end after all was signed, the DA said sir come with me (and a cop) because you have numerous outstanding warrants (0: I was so proud of my daughter she stood right up said in a good loud voice exactly what happened showed her scar to the judge. She was fantastic. He is a very intimidating man the dog owner she did great. ok sorry so long Thanks for all the support ‘im sorry I have been quiet i am thinking of all of you. Take care I am off to Gamma treatment tomorrow Cindy

Cindy, Glad to hear that the court case on the dog bite incident is over with. We are also very proud of your daughter. Being in court is rather intimidating even if you haven’t done anything wrong!!! So she did a fantastic job in my opinion. We all understand why you have been on the quiet side and as long as you let us know every now and then how you are doing we will be grateful. We worry about you!!! Hope your gamma treatment tomorrow leaves you feeling a lot better!!! You are in my thoughts and prayers always. With Love and Hugs, Sherry

Oh, how wonderful!! I’m proud of her too! I’m sure this will help her emotionally and she also now has a positive experience of our government at work! (Which doesn’t always work perfectly but it’s still the best in the world.) Bev "wards" <jcwar…@earthlink.net> wrote in message

I am so proud of your daughter!! Good for her!! Now does this guy have to find the dog? And does whoever has the dog now have to obey the Judge’s edict???? It is hard to understand why people keep bad dogs anyway. Glad this part is over……… And didn’t you feel vindicated that he had all those outstanding warrants???? barbtoo
Response:
Yes he had to tell exactly where the dog is it is Texas state law. Then the new owners have 11 days to comply or turn over the dog. And Oh yes it was very nice when they held him. This man has been very belligerent to everyone in neighborhood and has tried to intimidate as well as his children. We have told my daughter the only way to handle this is to turn the other cheek. So for that to happen was wonderful This man really believes the rules do not apply to him. So was a great lessen for my daughter. Plus he lied in court and we had eyewitness and pictures to back it up. So we had our day in court.
