Question:
Got all hyped up today to go to the Planned Investigation Unit at the local hospital – I thought I was having the full works, MRI, VEP, cognitive function tests but no, the waiting list for the MRI is getting close to unmanageable, and even as an urgent case I’ve got a 3 month wait. So, it was just the VEP and loads of bloodwork today. I know what they are looking for with the VEP, but what’s with the bloods? I didn’t think anything could be found from one of those, or is it to rule out things other than MS? The good news is that my eyesight is actually better than the technician’s is
– as my prescription for specs is three years old, that’s not bad going!

Response:
Eh Anna , I had a nine month wait for my MRI. And your right they want to rule every thing else out with the blood work. With me they tested for Lupus and my thyroid. Good luck Anna..
