Howdy, y’all. I live in NC (Raleigh) and my favorite sister, Sherry, has been battling lupus for almost 10 yrs (she’s 46). I need some recommendations and don’t know who to turn to. She’s been on disability all that time, can’t even afford her meds half the time, and presently has an oxygen at home that she has to use quite a bit. There’s some kind of medicine that has to go in that that she can’t even buy, so she basically can’t even use the machine and has awful breathing problems. I don’t have any money to help her because believe it or not , I’m temporarily on disability myself for malignant lymphoma but, thank God, will recover. I have 3 more chemo treatments and I should be back to work and such. Anyway, my e-mail address is Jeffrey…@webtv.net If any of you folks have any idea who I can bitch to in New York (that’s where my sister lives) about getting my sister the decent help that she needs, could you please let me know? I’d really appreciate it, since she suffers so much and can’t even get half the stuff she needs (she can’t afford the deductible for most of the stuff). Hello, if shes on soc-sec disability she should be elligable for SSI that will suppliment her income and give her medical (medicaid). call soc-sec office and talk to them at 1-800-772-1213 Mookeysmom/Tina http://www.geocities.com/mookeysmom866/index.html
