Moving to Newport Beach, CA – Looking for Rheumatologist

Question:

Hi My wife and I will be relocating from Switzerland to the area of Newport Beach, CA (Orange County). She is looking for a good rheumatologist in the area for her lupus. Do you have any suggestions about doctors in this area or how to go about finding one? Thanks Cornelius (If you reply by mail, change # to @ in my address)

Response:

I’m going to take the liberty of CCing this to a friend who lives there. Hopefully, she can send you the names of local Rheumies. "Cornelius Fichtner" <spamelius#yahoo.com> wrote in message

</snip> This link http://www.ama-assn.org/aps/amahg.htm  might help you find a doc. on your own, but I am sure someone will come through for you, and if all else fails I have an old aunty in Costa Mesa, Orange County that might know of someone for you! I wish you all the luck in the world with your move and really hope all goes well for your wife with her health through out it as it can be very stressful and we all know what stress does to lupus! Be very careful!! Wishing you lots of health, energy, calm and serenity for the big move across the pond…. looking forward to your postings in the newsgroup too.
