Question:

Good Morning Cloud, You are welcome. You are describing some one sided weakness. Don’t be alarmed if the doctor orders an EMG. It is perfectly painless, and it will tell them if muscles and the nerve running through them are properly carrying messages. Regards, BJ "cloud`9" <cloud…@bellsouth.net> wrote in message

Thanks BJ… i think that is what he is looking for… yes, on the muscle weakness and the left hand is like little to no use to me… well, heck… the left side of my body is on vacation! Hurts too. I thought the muscle weakness was FM which they also diagnosed me with though.  Also now i have a muscle under the rib cage on right side that seems to be pulling in under my rib. This does not hurt but feels really annoying and like have to push it away from the rib cage or lay down. Doc is also doing creatinine testing so who know what the results will be. I will let ya know when they are available so y’all can help me with the values please!!! Thanks again!!! well the doc is doing more tests and this time for muscles i guess… he said my muscles had too much pain… or something like that… so is doing cpk tests and creatinine or something like that… he also thinks my lupus is flaring up again… well, i looked up cpk and said it is a test they usually do for possibly polymyositis or other muscular dystrophy type things… was wondering if anyone knows more about myositis first-hand or the tests. Always, cloud

Hi Cloud, Are you experiencing muscle weakness? That usually occompanies SLE myositis. The tests he has ordered will tell him if muscle enzymes are getting into your blood because of inflammation. I can tell you the normal if you would like them. You can compare them to your readings when you get them. It is Canadian lab measurement, but I think they would be the same. Most of the tests are read the same way. I hope this isn’t a flare for you. Regards, BJ "cloud`9" <cloud…@bellsouth.net> wrote in message
