Question:

In article <25628-35D79C20…@newsd-124.bryant.webtv.net>, Cactus <painle…@webtv.net> writes >Hi!  I was surprised to see my name in the posts… Hope you can see >this, Judith, and everyone else!  I saw other postings from WebTV >people, any problem there?  Strange cyber-space, ha! >~Cactus~

On my machine your message comes up with an HTML attachment, and the option to view it. When I do so I get a standard Internet browser window with the message OPEN THE DOOR TO SEE WHAT YOUR FUTURE COULD BE!!! which then tries to link me to some site (I read mail off-line) and a yellow button with MUSIC written on it. — Andy

Judith, Cactus does exist.  All I can suggest for a possible reason is that her mail program is allowing a format that your mail program doesn’t read. Nothing like answering your own email.  I need to get a life.  For anyone having trouble like me reading some posts, here is a possible solution I have discovered. 1.  select the message 2.  click on your file menu 3.  click on properties 4. click on details 5.  click on message source Voila!  you can get the script of the message in plain text format.  BTW, thanks for your posts Cactus.  Your info is well received.  Thanks again. Judith

Cool.  Thanks for the tip.  I’ve learned something here.  I get Cactus’ messages but sometimes do not get other messages. Why is it that the body of Cactus’s posts never do come up on my computer? All I ever get is the topic and who it’s from and then no actual reply.  Is this person for real or what?  There were six posts from Cactus in my lupus newsgroup and not a one of them had any words in the body of the post in them.  Does anyone else have this problem too?  I get others posts, why not Cactus’?  What gives?   Would like to at least read the posts if there are any that is.  Judith
