Question:
I just wondered if anyone has Lupus and if a doctor has ever told you that the depression is related to Lupus. I’ve read that any chronic illness can lead to depression caused by just knowing you have such an illness, but I’m more interested in knowing if the illness could physically cause depression.

I have a friend who had/has Lupus. I think it did cause depression in her. I wouldn’t want to swear to this, however. Eric (Clever sig currently under construction)
