Hi Guys, Does anyone know which abbreviation on your test results represents your liver function? My doc always tells me but I’d like to read it myself. I can’t seem to figure it out… Kelly

http://www.mtio.com/lupus/lfalt1.htm ALT SGPT GPT ? (but there’s others there also) I think the above one is the first one they’d monitor and perhaps run others if something abnormal showed on the ALT. (but I could be wrong). Right on the money there J. those are the ones and it is in the complete metabolic profile. Now you doc tells you to read it yourself. HEY ask him who pays him to be the doctor here? I think any doc would and should be glad to give you a run down on all tests and what they mean, and if they don’t then the patient has the right to ask him about all of them…’ Have a nice weekend janers
