Hello everyone! Right now I’m need in help of a much needed friend. I’m a 21 year old female who was diagnosed with SLE 4years ago at the young age of 17. I have a hard time dealing with this disease. To my knowledge I have had everything that I can possibly think of. This disease has effected my joints, brain, organs, and skin. I have only had one good year and that was back in 1999. I’m hoping that this year is better than the last. I’m looking for a friend someone I can talk to about all my problems. You’re definitely in the right place. I’m sure you’ll find lots of information and understanding here. I’m sorry though to hear that you’re so young and have lupus. My daughter is 15 and was diagnosed two years ago herself. It’s been a real rollercoaster ride, but things seem to be smoothing out a bit finally. Sandra
