Question:

shaky, congused and dammit I don’t know what to do

Response:

Hi Leslie(right?) It is funny, but I was just thinking about you and Lorie the other day. It has been a long time since we heard from you. Sounds like you need to talk. Go for it. BJ-Sk. Canada "Chaos Hill" <mrsmu…@hotmail.com> wrote in message

Response:

Hello Leslie, We’re here for you if you want to share. Is there someone nearby who can stay with you? My friend Zinn gets like that too sometimes. It’ll pass, I hope. If you think something serious is going on, call your doctor or get some help, please.  ( ( ( ( ( Leslie ) ) ) ) J – Hide quoted text — Show quoted text -Chaos Hill wrote: > shaky, congused and dammit I don’t know what to do

Bed, hot tea with honey, and a mindless book.

Yes. But the reason seems to be that all the viruses, worms, snakes and similar vermin are producing so much stuff that it’s clogging up the systems.  For example, one of the viruses (viri?) sends copies of (usually big) files, which it has infected, from your system to lots of people in your address book. So suddenly your PC is sending out 50 messages each with a large file attached, and that’s 50 times say 250Kb = 12.5Mb of junk to be processed. Another virus sends out stuff with impossible addresses, and clogs up the mail systems while they search all the directories, or constipates the switches while they try to route it to nowhere. I haven’t heard that any groups are being censored. Watched, yes, but that’s nothing new – the USA and UK governments can be assumed to be looking at every message that anyone sends.  (Hello there!) >Also shut down a lot of chat rooms all over the net.

That was for sordid commercial reasons, ie they realised they couldn’t make any money out of them. >Anyone help me here. >janers

messages??? I’ve been using RoadRunner for two years and it has served me well, so far as I know.  I mean, how do I know what I’m *not* getting?? Yours, Barbara

just a little info on this.  Free Agent would have no impact on what posts you see (unless you use "filters".)  However, Google can as some people use "x-no-archive: yes" to prevent some archives from saving their posts.  Likely as not, if you are seeing something on Google that you don’t see on FreeAgent, it is simply because your ISP is not getting all the posts. And no ISP will get *all* posts tho some are superior to others.  my ISP doesn’t even come close to 30% which is why I use newsguy – since it is specifically designed for Usenet service, it has a lot of newsfeed and I probably see 95% of all valid posts if not better than 95%.  OTOH, with Newsguy I rarely see the Usenet spam.  Sadly, trolling is hard to filter and since many trolls use remailing sites/software they generally get picked up by more newsfeeds than your standard decent person using their own ISP to post. jtis, k

Hi Janers, Funny you should mention it.  I thought it was just me.  I pick up some posts using Free Agent, and other posts using Google.  All posts are not showing up on either.  I can’t figure it out.  I notice that the troll is having no problems.
