Question:
Hi everyone, I just had to write this to share what I’ve been up to lately. In the last two weeks I have bought 5 needlework/cross-stitch magazines, bought material for a project called Lilies of the Valley from an Australian Better Homes and Gardens magazine, as well as the flosses to go with it. Then I decided that I’d better get myself some new needles, a floss box with bobbins, and then maybe some more magazines to go along with all the other new stuff. All this was a reward for finishing only two Christmas ornaments!!! Actually that’s just an excuse and I know it, but I enjoyed every minute. Thanks everyone for the encouraging posts and ideas, this was the real encouragment for the spending spree. Guess what else. I finally got my blood test results today and found out that I don’t have Lupus as the doctor first thought, another reason to spoil myself??
Thanks again Vanessa

Dear Vanessa-Sounds good to me!! So glad that your bloodwork came back negative for Lupus! Actually, you don’t need an excuse to be nice to yourself…everyone needs a little affirmation once in awhile, even from themselves (especially from themselves!) So, congrad’s to you!!! Have fun with your new projects-Happy stitching-Marie K

Congratulations on the blood work! Yes, it is a reason to spoil yourself – like any of us need a reason. Ha ha! "Share the happiness of those who are happy, and the sorrow of those who are sad." Romans 12:15 Phillips JoAnn

I’m looking for some help. I have a friend who stitches and she would dearly love a detailed graph of Moses on the Mount. She said she has one but it’s very simple, she’s looking for something more challenging to give to her pastor. Praying Hands has some lovely graphs but no Moses. Can anyone suggest something? If you can give me the designer or the title I can take it from there. Working part-time at our shop helps! "In a friendship be liberal with praise." Alan Loy McGinnis JoAnn

Hi Vanessa, Congrats – what a relief, eh? Gee, let’s celebrate. I think I’ll go buy some charts to celebrate Vanessa’s good news! Barbara (il),-” (li),’ ((!.-’
