Experiences

Question:

Would anyone mind taking a little time to write up a bit about your experiences in wordpad/word or notepad for me? I would like to place an experiences section on my site. WHO BETTER TO EXPLAIN IT!! Also, if you have a partner. How do they cope with helping you? Would they write a little something for me. Drop me a line, or leave me a message on the guestbook in my site. I don’t require names etc etc, and I will keep you anonymous unless you specifically state otherwise. I have lived with my partner for some 9 months now. I didn’t know anything about Lupus, I mean come on, it’s not that widely educated is it? Creating this site has given me the opportunity to learn for myself if not for others. So please, I know Rome wasn’t built in a day, but if I have your help, I would be confident in knowing other sufferers can learn that little bit extra. Many thanks, Dean.

Hello Dean, You and Ally make a fine couple. I like the arm tattoo. For many of our posters, it’s all they can do to try and keep up with the posts and posters here. Their partners (if applicable) are doing their thing, work and the family lives, I guess. So this newsgroup is a documentation (of sorts) of their day-to-day experiences (as much as some of them will say). I know some say a lot and others when unwell(er) are unable to post or read the other messages. It varies from person to person, day to day, like Lupus. If you don’t hear a lot of "experiences" from partners of, maybe there’s a local support group? I see Ally lost a baby?  And she’s pregnant now due in October? Trin just had a healthy baby, she’s busy with the feeding and coping with the fatigue or catching up on sleep. She updates us maybe once a week. Perhaps it would be more helpful if you read the posts as you are able, and tell us more about Ally’s particular "blend" of Lupus problems. Best, J
