Hi, I had asked about Evista week or so ago. Well, I had gotten it and started it. It through me so into a depression it was horrible, My Lupus began to flare as my whole body felt like it was on fire. It does affect the vascular system but thr RD thought it would be OK. I since had to D/C it nad go back to the patch.( This is all for osteoporosis). Now I started a soy drink mix which I am hopeful will also do the trick as the phytoestrogens are a bit kinder. Anyone else, or am I the only weird duck! Marge Marge

Rats Marge — sorry to hear about this reaction. I have been on Evista for over a year and just love the stuff. Can’t tell I am taking it except that the bone density is higher since taking it. I have no reaction to it what so ever. I understand that it can cause hot flashes but I am having less and less of those as I gracefully age — thank you very much!! Hi Marge, sorry you had problems. Doesn’t work for me either. Gave me Phlebitis, had to stop right away. Hi Caroline, No I logged on to a company that sells a fine drink with high powered soy. It seems to be doing well I am on it over a week. The Drink is called Revival and is sold online only*(They tell me). With my broken shoulder, I have not been able to drive so the computer has been wonderful! Anyway, I wish the evista had worked! Heres hoping the Soy is ok! Love Marge Marge
