Question:
going through all this dental work now and experiencing the same problems.thought it was just me, Now I can at least anticipate the poblems with the root canals and maybe avoid some of the complications Bee
Response:
I know exactly what your talking about! I had a root canal about 5 or 6 yrs ago, no problem… Now, I had one, it got infected, I have nerve damage, slight, but none the same, it`s damage (when I smile, there is now a new horizontal line on my cheek)….tooth chipping, bleeding gums, etc. Is it because of Lupus or is it the prednisone? Lately I`m noticing my complexion is changing, doc says that`s prednisone.. side-effect… All I know is things are happening that I don`t like, what is one to do? I guess we just gotta keep plugging along! Best we can…. ~Cactus~

Response:
I always did too. I have had at least 14 root canals done over, no exageration.I have had numerous problems with dental work, as has my 24 yr. old daughter. She also has Lupus and was diagnosed at the age of 7. The dentist told me that her teeth are like drilling thru butter. In fact, just last week, she chipped a tooth on bread!………………….Kathy D&S wrote in message <35F6F0B5.C1F4E…@povn.com>… Hi everyone; do any of you have problems with dental work? My Dentist cringes when has to treat me because for some reason there is always a problem, like nerve damage from the novacain injections, severe inflammation of the gums occuring after the procedures and increased headaches and eye problems plus increase in fatigue levels. It’s really un-nerving for myself and my dentist. I have to wait 3-4 weeks between any dentist appointments before I can go back for whatever works needs finished. I’m totally frustrated about it. Thanks! And if you have an answer, please reply back to the newsgroup.
