Question:
Everybody, cross your fingers I go to the college tomorrow morning to register, sign up for classes, etc. I’m a little nervous tonight. There are 18 pages of English classes listed in the directory. I have to pick just one or two. I figure I’ll be a chicken and place my resignation from my job through the little mail slot over the weekend. That’s giving her from this weekend until Jan 2 to find somebody. That’s giving her 6 weeks notice. The last day of school will be Dec 23. That will be my last day!!! (I wonder if she will expect me to be at work on Jan 3?) I guess I should give her the resignation in person that would be the kindest thing to do. I’ll have to think about that. But for right now I just have to get through tomorrow morning at the college. One step at a time!! Nervous hardly explains it, I’m scared, excited, anxious, etc. all rolled into one. The local campus is very small. I might have to go to a different campus for some classes. I don’t know. Just wish me luck. No reply necessary – just cross your fingers and those on the western side of NA just cross your fingers when you wake up!! I’ll be there about 9 AM EST Bev

Say, why don’t you take a course in Middle English… you know, Beowulf, Chaucer and all that. Pigmet says he wants to try on some of those funny hats from that time… My class registration just came, and I am thinking about whether I am up for making the committment to go to at least one class. Will even try to cross my legs for a worthy cause! Am wondering if folks with Lupus and not any other overlaps can accomplish things like college and going to school better then I ever could. My brain has been zoning out so much these days. Maybe it is just the old mule syndrome? Wish I could go!!! — Always, ..
