Creaky Joints

Question:

My shoulders still creak- it’s obviously the two bone ends rubbing together and Enbrel aint gonna help that…I know I know- I don’t want anymore surgery either <sigh Kate    Send in the clowns I will not drag you along; I will not leave you alone; I will stand by you and have my hand there for you to hold when you need it.

Response:

My doctors tell me creaky joints don’t predict anything.     They also tell me my blood test has something in common with people who have lupus, but i haven’t got lupus and neither am i GOING to have it.     They also tell me, no reason to expect the creaks and slightly reduced movement (fingers and shoulders, as yet) to get any worse; no reason why it shouldn’t get better on its own… etc.     Are they telling me everything i should know? yours, flailing arms around for want of more any articulate way of reacting to the phrase below, wonder

:D id any of you who have had good results on Enbrel have the creaky joints :that predict big problems later…

Response:

Geez Wonder – Your Dr is clear as mud, huh! LOL!!!  I’ve just learned to expect anything and everything!  If it doesn’t come to pass, cool!  If it does, I’ll deal with it when it gets here.  No sense in getting ulcers, especially when the drugs are doing it for you anyway! -bg- Kitty

Response:

Dear Wonder, What are they telling you? Docs are notorious for not telling us enough! Are you seeing a GP or an RD? What have they told you so far and what test results have they found? You’ve got my curiosity up and I’ve just gotta know.  There are lots of experienced people here who may be able to help you figure out what is going on.  Sincerely LizG

Response:

Did any of you who have had good results on Enbrel have the creaky joints that predict big problems later…if so, did this disappear or get better, or is it a lost cause when it gets to this point..I’m hoping for a reprieve from more surgery…..Peggy
