Well after yesterday’s nice time in bed and the dizziness. I have come to agree with all your posts to my question about the sun and protection. Man you guys are smart. I did manage to stay awake today and get to have more blood tests and see a new heart doc. She was very pleasant and listened to me. She did agree that the use of those meds, that the one doc prescribed are for severe cases of irregular heart beat and they do have severe side effects. She will NOT put me on them. She wants to see why my heart does this and why the bp goes up and down, like a yo yo. I am to take my bp 4-5 times a day and now I am also on an EXPLORER MONITOR. It is just new to them and I am the guinnie pig for them…You wear it all the time. A round thing with a button on it connected to 2 electrodes. Hope I am not boring you, this is long LOL Well you wear it and if I feel those flops and flips, I am to push that button and it will signal to take a reading. You have a full minute to catch the reading. Write down what I was doing if possible or not….Also you can only hit the button 6 times. Then you go to the phone and dial and put the monitor on the part of the phone you talk into and push send. Then it sounds and when it is done recording push reset for another 6 episodes. One thing they do not like is it is complicated for older people to do, I guess I ain’t old enought LOL Another thing is my hearing disability, I have to write down how many times I push it, cause I can not hear it beep when the 6 times are up. So here we go again… She says it may just be that I have to put up with the flips and that it is not harmful..some pts with MCTD/lupus she says have this. Now the other doc, did not say that….I even think Sandra did. Good old Sandra, always on the ball.. The bp and pulse may not need any medication she will keep records and we will work together. Now that is one knowledgeable doc… So here I am still ticking and still kicking. Thank God. Now to the rheumy on monday and the heart doc says she has to problem with the start of a DMARD for me. Maybe I am finally getting some smart answers here. Thanks for reading. Have a nice evening…Janers
