Sorry new post; need to find out why a IM/ INJECTION ACTH; was pulled from the market… I was at rheumatolagist yesterday; in the SEATTLE area . Spent 3 hours going to & from various hospitals pharmacies. I BEGAN TO FEEL LIKE A REAL DRUGGIE IN SEARCH OF HER; FIX…Supposedly this great drug; similar to Predisone could fix me up; better than hot creme-chesse on a warm croissant… This is Seattle Sue; PLEASE REPLY WITH ANY SUGGESTIONS OR HELP!!! I JUST LOVE THE FACT THEY TELL YOU YES; YOU PROBABLY HAVE SLE LUPUS BUT DON’T OFFER THE COPING SKILL FACTS. THANKS! SEATTLE SUE

need to find out why a IM/ INJECTION ACTH; was pulled from the market… I’d like to know why, too. I was told it is considered too dangerous but have not been able to find more information. CP

What you describe does sound like it could be some type of inflammatory arthritis. Sandra

Well, today I got my first real bout of arthritis. My and swelled up, got stiff, and spread outward, the joints were red and between the joints was a very unnatural white tone spent 4 hours bouncing from my PCP to the E.R., the ER doc was a quack, put an ace bandage on and told me to go to my PCP if it happened again…..my PCP is a gynocologist and sent me to the ER because he is not an internalist and could not give me a diagnosis for any type of arthritis, so I am having this with no one to treat me….what fun! Frustrated I took an Aleive and now I can move my hand….need to find a specialist SOON!
