Question:
Acupuncture therapy helped with the pain in one place, but it developed in another and also, I got vertigo (don’t understand how this is related, unless the treatment opened new pathways). Anyway, it made what pain I have bearable and gave me a little more energy and I would do it again. I have sensitivities to almost all pain meds, so I’m always open to alternative medicine. Sandy
Response:
Dan, I went to an acupunturist to treat my lupus, and i have to honestly say it really did not help all that much, except to stop my sinus infections from coming back with such severity. i do however from time to time take something called super blue green algae, when i am really overtired and exhausted, which seems to help me in the short term not be so fatigued. this is of course only my experience, and i do know a woman with lupus who sees an acupuncturist and says that she has great results, much better than i do. i am guessing it depends on the person individually. i would say, try it, it certainly can’t hurt to try right? a.t.s.

Yes, but they can’t help to bring it under control. They can however, help with some side effects of regular medications. Boaz
