Question-Nerve Damage???

Question:

Hi Pam, it’ll probably go away eventually. If this is the least of your worries you’re lucky! I’ve had this happen from IV’s while in the hospital that didn’t go away for 6 months. Good luck! Hi Candi-thank you for responding-did you have to have OT or any special exercises? Did the hospital pay for your treatment? did they say it was related to your lupus? I’m just curious-because friends of mine tell me I should see a lawyer if they don’t offer to pay for my medical bills related to this. thank you again-pam In article <7sjq2i$137…@node17.cwnet.frontiernet.net>,   "james d bowen" <reen…@frontiernet.net> wrote: – Hide quoted text — Show quoted text -> Hi Pam, it’ll probably go away eventually. I too have numbness, in my left hand, not only in the fingers but the entire hand, it has been this way for 2 years now, I have ran the gamut of tests, and they proved inconclusive. I just live with the numbness, some days worse than others, thought at one time that it might be related to the Lupus, but now I am not sure, I also have Reynaulds Syndrome, which for the first time this past winter I suffered with, and was quite severe. I have been from Neurologist to Occupational Therapist, my next step may be to see a Chiropractor, as I have been told that my spine and neck need alignment, so maybe that has been the culprit. Anyways, if what you do have, is nerve damage, I would look into whether or not you have some recourse there, as I would be furious if I found out that I had been poked and they hit the wrong place. I would not let that rest. I hope that the numbness in your fingers goes away soon and that you figure out what the numbness was definitely related to. Take care.
