It is lumped under the term "cognitive dysfunction". If you want to see a quick chart of the American College of Rheumatology Criteria for SLE go to my page, http:/www.ghg.net/schwerpt/mypage.htm go to Defining/describing SLE. You will see the words "11 Criteria" marked as a link – this will take you directly to a chart borrowed from Dr. Daniel Wallace’s "The Lupus Book". Sure, memory loss can arise from many causes, either directly or indirectly related to Lupus. Cerebritis and vasculitis are the two most common directly related causes. Fatigue and poor sleep are the two most common indirect causes. But, if you mean a symptom for the diagnosis of Lupus, it is not. Don
