Question:
Hi All Looking for knowledge of/experiences with lupus bullous for my friend I posted about before. She continues to have very lupus like symptoms, waiting for blood tests from doc next week, but also has been having blistering on her skin occurring as well as some mouth ulcers. She’s worrying it could also be pemphigoid or pemphigus given the symptoms. Any info on this? I’ve found medical info on the net but just looking to see if it rings bells with anyone here. Sal, YOu might want to ask her to ask the doctor about the use of Dapsone? At one time someone told me that is good for bullous lupus, but there is a blood test YOU have to have before you can take that drug. Just have her ask about it and see what the doc say *I do know that with bullous lupus it can get much worse and if not treated properly, then develop into systemic problems also and dehydration that’s all I know janers

Thanks Janers! We are speculating a bit here but the profile of everything happening with her is so lupus with the *extras* I guess you could say. She’s very sick and not sure what is what, so just trying to muddle through till she gets some definitive answers. Sal
