Question:
How about a couple of real simple things such as Thrush? Or If you’ve been on anything that would lower the bacteria in you digestive system so it killed off the good guys? Have you tried sloshing your mouth with plain yogurt? Thrush will get white and patchy looking but starts as tiny blisters (usually). Bev "Janers" <rojak…@bright.net> wrote in message

I have a rx for maalox with lidocaine to swish and swallow when my mouth and throat break out. You might ask your doc if this would be something you could try. You might try plain maalox, it can’t hurt I think. I hope this goes away soon. Let us know. Wende "Janers" <rojak…@bright.net> wrote in message

Hi First sorry I have not been around much. Problems with Motor home people, which is now back to the Dealer. Problems just seem to hit ya first hand I had that ph monitor done in Cleveland and next Monday the GI doc is calling me and giving me the results that he said was faxed and sent to GI doc here. ‘ Now my problem: A few days ago I started to have sore mouth. Just a little discomfort here and there, I thought nothing of it but had nausea on and off again, with short jabs of pain in the belly. Yesterday I woke up and dang, my whole mouth is on fire. I mean like someone poured scalding water in it. My tongue also. I looked inside my mouth and it is not like the lupus sores I get where they are very pain ful, this is different pain. I saw some pinpoint red spots by the gums, and hubby said it looked like blisters on the roof of my mouth. I can not eat because when I do it makes it worse. Nausea is bad sometimes. And the back of my throat feels like it is burnt also when I swallow. DUH. I called the clinic in cleveland and duh doc is Out of town, so called my GI doc here. He did not have any report and they are hunting it down for the monitor test results. So he says that the nexium should NOT be doing that. I said the nausea is bad but again, I am to call the rheumy and if she does not think it is lupus related, then GI doc wants to know. Now the dilema is this. I called rheumy. SO far nothing back yet. She will want to up the medrol again and for what. I am more tired but don’t have any other symptoms of joint pain.. I think it is the use of nexium 40mg twice a day and have been on it since july. that is the only med change. I have not eaten much of anything. I can drink but anything does burn after it leaves my mouth. My gut burns and mouth so in my mind it is related to the stomach? OK, what ya think this little ditty is?? As far as other stuff going on, well it is too much more to post. Always something isn’t it. Moody river slug I call it today.. thanks janers

<snip> Janers, I typed into google mouth throat blisters nausea, and all the sites that came up were dealing with either plant or pesticide poisoning… Now I’m really worried about you! Can you get to the doc today, or if not the doc, the ER??? -Sharon — Clear your mind, relax and float downstream.

Hi Janers, My daughter had a virus one time when she was just little. She had blisters in her mouth, and down the back of her throat. The skin inside her mouth peeled off. I wonder if it could be something like that. The doctor couldn’t do anything about it. Unfortunately it had to run it’s coarse. BJ-Sk. Canada "Janers" <rojak…@bright.net> wrote in message

stress and running around – possibly caught a virus and/or ate/ingested something new? > Now my problem: A few days ago I started to have sore mouth. stomatitis? combined with GERD? Just curious, did ya happen to sleep on your left side? Eat anything spicy, tomatoey, vinargary, sweet, or booze or caffeine (close to bedtime) Eat too close to bedtime? > I I am more tired but > don’t have any other symptoms of joint pain.. > I think it is the use of nexium 40mg twice a day and have been on it > since july. that is the only med change. Maybe, maybe not. H. pylori ? I had that (or similar) twice a few weeks ago, after trying to take B50’s If I sleep on my left side, the GERD/symptoms is worse, especially more than one night in a row. I only take my GERD med once a day, before supper meal. I find twice a day seems to make things worse, maybe because I then feel safe to eat things that make the symtoms worse? Swishing with baking powder and/or salt, made/makes it worse. Dunno Janers, that GERD can sure do a number on the mouth and gums. The FMers have various things they use which works for them. Wonder if Sharon remembers any of them? This summer when my tonsil and glands swelled up and mouth was sore, Zinc tablets (usually for colds) seemed to soothe the mouth and throat. (for me/my situ) J

I contacted both rheumy and GI doc. GI doc says it can not be nexium. Rheumy says, stop nexium and see her wed. I will do what rheumy says. I can swallow it just feels like my mouth is on fire most of the time. I don’t think it is a poison thing but I will watch if I have more trouble. The lupus sores I usually get are very painful and not burning so this is throwing me for a loop here. Nausea after I eat as well, so I really think it is more esophagus and nexium but who knows any more. I stopped the nexium, now watch the gut take off. I am upset to say the least. GI report from Cleveland can not be forwarded to GI here due to fact GI doc in Clinic is OUT of town and they do not have a clue where the report is right now. IF it is in his mail or office they still can not give it out without his permission well la dee da. Here we go again. Sorry I am in such a bitter (pun) mood hugs janers
