Question:
My Mum has MS and has just been diagnosed with Discoid Lupus. Does anyone have any experience of this and have any advice about how she can treat the lupus (other than doctors visits + medication). At present she is using an antisceptic manuka cream + a steroid cream. Is Lupus all stress related?? Any advice???

I thought discoid lupus is drug related? but with either ms or lupus stress increases the severity of symptoms…at least for me it does. I have both cpms and sle lupus. my sister has sle lupus and i have r/r ms, there is certainly a connection, one of us could possibly e misdiagnosed or have both. my sis has had arthritic type sx for years but has recently been suffering from discoid lesions. she is under mega stress, treats pain and lesions with oral steoids and lesions with steroid cream. good luck maryelle http://community.webtv.net/meochinani/Maryspersonal http://community.webtv.net/meochinani/MSMomsPage
