Question:
I noticed your post and had to get to you. My symptoms like yours are very similar. Are you in any joint pain? Are you on any cortisone? You said will the doc put me on plaw or did you mean the doc did put you on the plaquenil. I sure hope he ordered more testing than and ANA to confirm your suspicions. Like complements and CMP, CBC etc…. Tell your boy friend not to touch LOL just kidding but maybe your body is reacting to the inflammation. I get warm and hot, and usually break out in sweats during the night. Was told it may be due to lupus also. Usually when my WBC and RBC are low I do this more. I also am a nurse and worked with a lot of neuro. patients, even got to see brain surgery. WOW is that something. You have an interesting job. If you do not feel well, your doc needs to do further evaluation of you. Tell the doc you work for the problem and I am sure they will be able to work something out for you. People will be willing to help if they know the circumstances. Have you logged onto the sites people use here. Hi Janers. Yes I have joint pain. I am not on any steroids at this time. They have done all kinds of tests on me everything except my ANA were normal. I have a half sister on my fathers side of the Family that has lupus as will as a greataunt with rheumatoid athritis with this kind of blood line I guess I have enough going on for a rheumy to say I have this. The neurologist I work for called one of his rheumy friends who says my rheumy may as will have went ahead and said I had lupus. I am alittle scared. I am divorced and have 2 childern al though I only have custody of my son I am worried about being able to do all the things a good mother does. I also will not ever marry anyone ever again not because I don’t love them but because I refuse to make anybody have to take care of me. See if my boyfriend ever did want to get married I’d have to say no he’s in a wheelchair and has been for almost 30 years I really don’t think that would be quite fair. My rheumy also said that people don’t get that tired. If that’s true then maybe he’s wrong about my DX cause I feel like somebody reached in my body and stole all the energy I had. I heard that people with lupus should never have a blood transfusion well I had one when I was 17 after the birth of my son I had a allergic reaction and endedup in icu. honeysuckleR
