Hate that and you are right it is nasty on my esophagus anyhow LOL. NOW, you had a suspension? so what type and why didn’t it work. So it left you with ????? problems???? I know what this pain is. The hanging of the bladder into the vagina, so that is why the pain. NOT infection, just like I said. Can you again please explain what you had done, and is your problem solved??? me wanting answers again. I DID NOT DRINK CRANBERRY JUICE> tee hee BLAME J FOR THAT REMARK>>>
) But I have to say, this is getting rediculous. What other crap you got Wende, that seems to match MY body. LOL We surely were not cloned?? hahahah janers who is still crying, out loud cause Wende said I was a Naughty girl..boo hoo

Ok, Ok, you are a good girl, (pet, pet) calm down. I thought you were going to give the cbj a try. Just wanted to remind you that your esophagus doesn’t like that stuff. Yes, I had an abdominal suspension, and bladder repair. Good grief, maybe we are sisters. You are the younger. The problems are better now, however kegel, exercises will not cure a sagging bladder as you well know. Got to tack that sucker up. if that doesn’t work wellenough then you can have collagen injected into the surgical site of the urethea, that will help.OW!! No, but it’ll come in handy on a picnic in the woods… — Andy [Chair, N E Lupus Group] See http://www.kitzbuhel.demon.co.uk/lupus for more!

I had a cath once, not in that location though. Thanks for explaining Wende, hope I can remember. Some days my brain seems over-filled with info.
My suspension didn’t really work either. There’s lots of types of bladder problems, sometimes I wonder if mine’s neurogenic. (the nerves) Can’t feel the need and then oops gotta go in the hurry, unless I’m just ignoring, but gotta say this. in past few days, beeen drinking lots more water and ensues more trips to bathroom. In fact, I gotta go right now.<g> Some days I feel like I might as well just move the computer to the bathroom LOL Hugs to you, J – Hide quoted text — Show quoted text -Wende wrote: > A suprapub is a surgical opening just above the pubic area through which a > catheter is inserted and sutured, into the bladder. Hello- My mother has interstitial cystitis and I will try and tell you what I know. It is where the lining of the bladder thins, thus causing "pressure" on the bladder, making you feel like you have to go frequently, and then you find out you really don’t. A few years back, I saw a urologist and had an aweful test done, as they thought I might have the same condition. My symptoms included pain in my kidney area(low back) , hematura( blood cells in your urine test), pressure and frequency. When they would send my urine out to test it for infection it kept coming back neg. So… they did a test and said everything was fine. My mother is gone for the winter, but I still talk to her on the phone if there is anything specific you would like me to ask let me know. She has had this for probably 20years, and as far as I know she has some pill that she takes before she goes on outings (like on a boat) where she will be away from a restroom for any length of time. Other than that; the urologist has run many tests on her and occasionally fills her bladder with some special fluid that is supposed to help take away some of the feeling on the nerve ends??? So there is less pressure. I think. Other than that, she has just lived with it. She has also had fms for 30 years, since before they knew what it was, and every specialist she saw said it was in her head. So she has had many dr experiences. Good Luck!! Don’t know what it is, but I can tell you that none of my two, possibly three kidney diseases cause any bladder problems at all. When I’m passing a stone, it does hurt when it gets in the bladder, but that pain is breathtakingly sharp.

A suprapub is a surgical opening just above the pubic area through which a catheter is inserted and sutured, into the bladder. Not a fun way to pee. W "J" <J…@NoOne.invalid> wrote in message

Bull!!! Have had suspension, etc. Didn’t work and neither did the kegel. Have blood in urine, and interstitial bladder. Has nothing to do with muscle tone in my case! Had a suprapube for 6 months. Go to the urologist. This can go from discomfort to downright dangerous in no time. Cranberry juice, forget it. You have bad esophageal problems and other GI problems that are significant. Cranberry juice helps some people some of the time, it also it hard on your esophagus the second time around. My two cents worth. Plus you are an R.N., you know better!!! Naughty girl! Hi Janers, well, the queen of bladder problems here has never heard of your problem nor would I even be able to locate where exactly my bladder is, so wouldn’t know bladder pain if it hit me in the face. Maybe if you describe where the pain is exactly? Is it referring from lower down maybe? Does it hurt if you press on the bladder area? Do you have a fever or flank pain? Clues, clues, clues… Here’s IC http://www.bladder-disorders.com/html/interstitial_cystitis.php3 Symptoms of Interstitial Cystitis Symptoms of painful bladder syndrome are similar to many other bladder diseases. The patient urinates frequently, often having to get up several times at night to urinate. Due to involuntary bladder spasms, patients feel sudden, urgent needs to urinate, and a burning sensation when urinating. Interstitial cystitis sufferers also experience mild to severe bladder pain. Symptoms may clear up seemingly at random, only to resurface later. Diagnosis of interstitial cystitis begins by ruling out other bladder disorders. Once this is done, a cystoscopic exam may be called for. With the patient under anesthesia the doctor inserts a thin tube into the bladder to examine the bladder walls. Small hemorrhages or ulcers on the bladder walls would suggest a possible diagnosis of interstitial cystitis.<snip> Maybe irritable bladder, maybe the start of an infection. Not sure one can always tell by just looking at urine unless in full-blown infection, so maybe good idea to drop off urine sample and get it checked (for infecton or occult blood)? In fact, I get tricked a lot by relying on usual bladder symptoms, because I don’t get them anymore and only realize when infection hits the kidneys. Maybe meantime, drink lots of water and what was that fruit – unsweetened cranberries, avoid S-E-X for a few days and/or have water immediately before and after go pee and have water. Get as much rest as you can, in the meantime. There’s lots of bladder problems, stones, polyps, inflammation, maybe even bowel problems can make us think bladder is the culprit and/or "female" stuff. Hugs J
