Question:
Re: Emu oil; I would hike to gnc or cvs and get the gel tabs for relief over a massage or ingestion of that stuff. Also compression of vertbrae can cause the numbness and tingling and should be ruled out as a cervical, vertibral problem. I have a relative that has lupus (and I do not know that much about it, unfortunately). She often suffers from tingling in her feet and joint pain, which I understand is somewhat common. I recently heard that some have used emu oil to temporarily relieve these symptoms. Is there anyone out there with similar experiences? Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

whew… who would have guessed. MHO would be that this is a good reason for people to raise and farm emus and little else but perhaps emu oil is on par with fish oil in which case – fish oil is probably less costly. Tingling is usually a sign of neural pressure or damage though can sometimes be a result of vessel blockage in the brain. It can also be a result of Raynaud’s a syndrome in which the blood vessels in the feet, hands, or nose spasm shut and prevent proper circulation – is there numbness with the tingling? Joint pain is a seperate issue and many people do find fish oil (specifically the Omega-3 Fatty Acids) to be very helpful with joint pain. Don’t kno where you’re located but in the US GNC carries a good fish oil pill – as well as a "deoderized" version (frankly I can’t tell the difference except the latter is much more expensive). anyway… hope this helps. KCat (who has lost all her files, shortcuts, etc in a mad bid to get her brand new and previously functioning graphic tablet to work and is now in day 3 of a migraine and is *this* close to doing herself in) On 25 Apr 2000 07:01:07 -0500, "J.
