Question:
Hi Folks, I have RA & Fibro, I am 37 years old. I am wondering about the rash I keep reading about. I also get rashes every summer, it`s small bumpy itchy red patches all over the back of my hands. Sometimes it goes all the way up my arms. It doesn`t last very long , maybe a day or so & only happens after being out in the sun…I have been going to a Rheumy for 2 years now, every 3 months. I always seem to forget to mention this to him, it seems I haven`t been out in the sun at the time I go to see him. I know some of you are probably thinking why hasn`t this girl told her Doc. about this. Well one reason being I never thought it was anything but a sunburn or sensitive skin related thing. Since I just purchased this computer in Nov. I never knew this rash had any possibility of being any kind of symptom. I only started thinking about this after reading and lurking around your wonderful Newsgroup. Yes, by the way, you all are so informative here. Alot of very sweet, nice, caring people. So I decided to delurk to ask my question about the "Rash" do you all think this is anything to be concerned about? I am not sure what blood tests the doc. did on my first initial exams. So here I am, wondering, sort of concerned, but still thinking I`m just jumping to conclusions…..I do have to apologize for this being much longer than I intended. Thanks to all. Janis (
