Me too, Dr Bill, after dealing with lupus since at least 1957, I am a walking text book on treatment of a chronic, used to be, life treatening disease! BTW, I really am not crazy…I just get mad! Dr. Work, and the group, I have some good news! My Dr. started me on oxycontin 20 mg every 12 hrs, although it is not taking all pain away, I am so much more comfortable, I cant tell you what a relief it is. I havent awakened in the morning without pain for 4 years. Thanks to all who cared enough to send me email, and everyone who sends info , It really helps when you communicate with your Dr.some of the things I have learned on this news group. Thanks to Dr. Work, and all who helped me through this depressing

Ladybird, Congratulations on finally getting some of the pain relief you need and deserve . It is always uplifting to hear when someone finds a real Doctor . Heres hoping you take it easy for a bit and not overdue yourself now that the worst of the pain is calming . Peace, Richard
