Or, to put it another way… Prednisone and lupus have caused enough of their own problems. Do I need to add marijuana and drug addiction? Nah…. I have an autoimmune disorder called antiphospholipid disease (a close realative of Lupus) diagnosed after I suffered a stroke. My heart goes out to all of you suffering from Lupus. The drugs I’m on are phenobarbital (addictive) and neurontin (responsible for wieght gain). I too am interested in other drugs including marajuana, for the prevention of siezure. I understand studys are now going on with marajuana for just that purpose. I dont believe marajauna would have to be smoked (though I dont see any reason why it shouldn’t be) I think it will come in a pill form. Steve

It won’t be smoked because the patient might enjoy the experience! Can’t have that, can we?
