Make a difference day…….

Question:

I think those are really special kids.  Most kids today seem to be concerned only about themselves and what they can out of people.  Its is very refreshing to see that all kids are not that way. Did anyone see the make a difference awards in Usa Weekend magazine?     There is a section on page 10 called Making Luck for Lupus. These is a daughter of a friend who’s mom has lupus and the mom was hopitalized.  Well long story but these kids wanted to make something to make money for lupus and they collected rocks and painted them like lady bugs and sold them for $2,00 a piece.  They collected a goal of $1000.00 out side Walmart.  Not only did they collect the goal but continued to collect $300.oo more.  Great job kids.  Isn’t that nice. We need more people like that.  Also the top of the article said Paul Newman donated $10,000     I always knew he was a sweet blue eyed man. LOL.   This is a good start in helping people to realize that this is a disease that needs to be cured.. — JANERS
