Question:
I had a CT scan too and nothing showed, we can’t be the only ones, it must be related somehow.

ANA is a different blood test ~ I have found pages on the lupus anticoagulant and it pretty much just confused me. Today I had blood drawn again to check the titer level, and depending on what it turns out I may have to see a rheumatolgist. I was put on Prednisone again for 2 weeks. Don’t get me wrong, I have not been diagnosed with lupus yet, nor do I want to be, however between this and the pregnancy it is definately all tied together. I was also given Valerate cream..a .2% hydrocortisone. ~ Rachel

I suffer from severe headaches always on the left side of my head. I’ve noticed that I always go through a bad break out when these start but I thought it was due to the stress and medication that I take. However now I am seriously reevaluating that. With this last episode, my doctor prescribed methyl-prednisone, a 6 day regimen since nothing else is working. In that 6 days, I had no headaches and now off of it they are starting again. It seems like all the inflammation in my body is not only causing the P but also these headaches that I can’t deal with. Is anyone else going through this or a similar situation? Everything got worse again 2-3 weeks after having my baby. I found out towards the end of my pregnancy that a test done, lupus anticoagulant was up a little but that doesn’t mean it’s lupus. Any info on that? I can’t help but think everything is somehow tied together. Thanks, sorry so long

To help you it’s important to know what kind of medication are you taking now. However now I am seriously reevaluating that. With this last episode, my doctor prescribed methyl-prednisone, a 6 day regimen since nothing else is working.
Nor the Sumatriptan and his derivatives ? To treat headache with strong steroids sounds like to shoot in the crowd. In that 6 days, I had no headaches and now off of it they are starting again. I don’t buy it. Being the knowledge of the pathogenesis ( causes and effects ) of P uncertain every other odd symptom could be ascribed to this disease, as happens for the psychosomatic diseases. Everything got worse again 2-3 weeks after having my baby.
That’s a fact !!! Sounds like an endocrinologic problem. I found out towards the end of my pregnancy that a test done, lupus anticoagulant was up a little but that doesn’t mean it’s lupus.
Sorry what is the lupus anticoagulant ? May be you mean the ANA test ? ( Antinuclear antibody test ). Anyway to be diagnosed with Lupus needs a long long diagnostic work. Any info on that? I can’t help but think everything is somehow tied together.
Hope this helps. Good luck.
