Well FINALLY I have found a doctor that ordered a bone scan and a bone density scan for me! I had taken Lupron and no one ordered one even though I asked about it, they said it wasn’t necessary, even though it says on the package insert that one should be done after the Lupron treatment. I went to a facility were there are several different doctors, they also have therapy there, which the doctor wants to start me on (Aquatic pool therapy) for my back and joint pain. He is also ordered some blood work for me, Lupus, Lymes disease, and rhumetoid factor. He ordered the bone scans and a hip xray because of the pain I have that the other doctor said was sciatic nerve damage. I had all the xrays and scans done today and the blood tests done last Thursday. He said that I could very well be in the early stages of drug induced Osteoporosis (from the Lupron). Just wanted to write and tell that I finally had it done, I am so relieved now. Now I am just waiting on the test results, hopefully nothing bad will be reported! TRICIA
