Question:
AARDA is offering a free copy of the New Lupus Book, produced by the National Institute of Arthritis and Musculoskeletal and Skin Diseases, National Institute of Health (NIH). They are asking for a donation to cover shipping and handling. More information can be found at: http://www.AARDA.org/press_release4.html (Yes, I’m one of their subscribers.

Kat, Thanks for this great tip. Been looking for something I could give my friends and relatives…..so tired of explaining everything. I just want to have some fun when we are together, not to make long winded speeches about my illnesses! Now I can educate and have some time left for fun. Thanks a lot! Cheryl, Just tell ‘em "Hey, no biggie – I’ve just got an immune system on steroids!! (okay, you may have to explain that after you stop laughing so hard you can’t breathe, and tears are running down your face, but at least you get a free joke out of it!! <g>) Wolf ~^,,^~

Amen Steph… I too am a member and a contributor. They really helped get the NIH to set up a committee to coordinate research on all autoimmune diseases as each had been separately funded and investigated without looking to see if the overall funding for autoimmune research was going in the right places. Their bi-monthly newsletter is worth joining for.
