ilena My name is Lester Hixson. I am writeing because my wife cannot. Becky had Dow implants put in about 1980 in about two years she started haveing trouble with tendons in her hands and feet. She also was dignost with Lupus and she has had arthritis for many years.She started haveing hair lose about the same time as the tendon problem.Now 20 years later, she has hsd 15 opperations on her hands and feet,all plasyic joints in her hands, they are so bad they don’t hardly look like hands. She can do very very little with them.I must cut and fix her food,I must do the cooking, I must help her dress as she cannot button anything,I must put her ear rings and any other jewlery on her.I must hire a cleaning lady to take care of the house.My wife was never lazy. she was always a hard worker. Becky now has short term memory lose, is very tired all the time has joint pain all the time. dry eye sockets daily, In effect,I am now a care giver.My wife is 68 and I am 72.These no good DAMNED money hungry Corporations are getting off scott free. What should have been our Golden years has turned into our hellen years.Wesigned up five years ago in the class law suit,but untill I got on your e-mail, I couldn’t find out much of what was going on.What I have found out makes me so mad I would like to join a malishia<spelled wrong but you know what I mean To see my wife suffer and those Corp. criminals get by with this makes my blood boil.I have been forced to put aside my life saveings to take care of her and i’m sentanced to her lifetime of complete service, no matter what I might want to do. Don’t get me wrong, I love her and will take care of her but those GREEDY CORP PIGS are not the ones paying the price,and our Goernment that is and has been controled by the damned democrats, has not and will not do anything about it.Yes I’m mad and we all should be mad. Our governments ,Courts, Attorneys, Doctors Congress, Just don’t give a damn. It’s all about money and the woman be damn. I feel for all you lovely ladys. All you wanted was to feel good about yourselves. and to look nice for the male side of your life ,and you got stabed in the back,mostly by that male factor. I hope this will all be finished in a fast manor for all of you and would like any information that you have that would help my wife Sencerely Lester N Hixson

Hello Lester, Thanks for your thoughts and comments. I wonder if any husbands were allowed to make presentations at recent FDA advisory panel? It could have been helpful to counter the "it’s all in your head" response that some people seem to think. Becky has a good man. I’m sure she’s very grateful for your caring support. So right Jean. Don’t we wish more of the women had loving, devoted husbands like Lester? BTW, I understand that one of the mates did speak at the hearings. We’ve seen the best come out in the men . . . and the worst in response to implant challenges.
